Heather Pienaar’s Retail Banking career spans 36 years, leading her to a Senior Management role in Corporate and Investment Banking. Her educational achievements include a Bachelors Degree, various banking qualifications, and courses in eCommerce, Marketing, Social Media, Lead Generation, TEFL, etc.

Heather left the Banking sector in 2011, and her entrepreneurial journey allowed her to start an eCommerce business, publishing books for aspiring authors and dipping her toe in Crypto Currencies, among others.

Heather is passionate about working with entrepreneurs, talking through their challenges and opportunities, sharing ideas and anything helpful in supporting them to achieve their goals. In addition to the iLembe Chamber’s The Entrepreneur programme, she is also involved with the Fetola/FNB Covid-19 SMME Online Mentor/Advisor Team and the GIBS Enterprise Development Academy Mentoring Programme. She is a member of the UKZN Business School Champions Programme’s Adjudication Panel.
